Rosalind was born in London and studied at the Walthamstow School of Art and Manchester College of Art and Design. After working as a graphic designer in London, she moved to Derbyshire in 1973 where she subsequently set up her own print workshop, developing her passion for the printed image.

Rosalind’s subjects are in response to places visited and loved and reflect a passion for plants and flowers which are a source of constant inspiration. Since 1989 she has spent several months each year on the small pine-clad Greek island of Spetses, drawing and painting watercolours. This work has then been translated into print during the cooler months spent in her Derbyshire workshop. Her expertise extends to richly textured lino-cuts and more recently to creative lithographs.
Her work – both painted and printed – has been widely exhibited both nationally and internationally and features in many public and private collections.
